Tour of Türkiye 2024: Day 15 The Ani Ruins were at the TOP of my list! Located so close to the Armenian border that some of the ancient sites are on the other side, this stunning landscape would be beautiful on it’s own. BUT - it IS the City of 1,001 Churches and these incredibly beautiful structures make for one heck of an adventure. Join us as we explore a place I’d love to go back for longer!

Tour of Türkiye 2024: Days 10-14! We relax and rest a bit in Lake Van and then began the 7.5 hour+ drive north and even farther east towards the city of Kars! We stop along the way at Mount Ararat (yes, the one from the Bible!) where the remains of Noah’s Ark allegedly rests. Fact? Fiction? Find out! Either way it was yet another incredible experience that highlights the deep connection between this part of the world and religious history vs. religious ‘stories from long ago’.
